Ingredients For Arbi ke patto ki Alu wadi Recipe

  • 1 cup Besan (chickpea flour)

  • 3 tsp tamarind pulp

  • 4 tsp jaggery

  • 1tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp haldi (turmeric)

  • 1/4 tsp hing (asafoetida)

  • 2 tsp refined oil

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1tsp mustard seeds

  • 12 curry leaves

  • Handful of coriander leaves

  • Shredded coconut optional

How to make Arbi ke patto ki Alu wadi Recipe?

  1. In a vessel add besan,salt , turmeric, red chilli powder, hing,and tamarind pulp ,jaggery.
  2. Add some water gradually and make a paste texture medium runny
  3. Divide the leaves
  4. Take big leaf and remove veins and apply thin layer of batter and spread it .
  5. Place second leaf on it zig zag way .
  6. Repeat these steps for 5 times
  7. Now make a tight roll fold it and make a roll like spring roll.
  8. Put this roll in steamer.
  9. Remove after 20 mins
  10. Cut roll into slices
  11. Heat the pan out oil
  12. Put mustard seeds,hing,sesame seeds,curry leaves
  13. Add alu vadi slices
  14. Cook for 5 mins and flip until golden brown and crispy
  15. Serve this crispy and hot aluvadi garnish with coriander leaves and coconut (optional)
