Ingredients For Afghani chicken Recipe

  • ½ kg chicken

  • 5-6 green chillies

  • ¼ cup cashew nuts

  • hand full of coriander leaves

  • 2 tbsn chaat masala powder

  • 2 tbsn black pepper powder

  • ½ tbsn ginger paste

  • ½ tbsn garlic paste

  • ¼ cup curd

  • 1½ lemon juice

  • 13 tbsn oil

  • 13 tbsn butter

  • 1¼ cup beated cream

  • 1pinch of kasuri methi

  • 1salt to taste

How to make Afghani chicken Recipe?

  1. In a grinder jar add 5-6 green chillies, ¼ cup cashew nuts, hand full of coriander leaves, little water, and grind into a smooth paste & keep it aside for further use.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add ½ kg chicken, 1 tbsn chaat masala, 1 tbsn black pepper powder, ¼ cup curd, ½ tbsn ginger paste, ½ tbsn garlic paste, salt to taste, ½ lemon juice & mix it well . Let it marinate for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Next heat a pan on medium heat. When the pan becomes hot enough, add marinated chicken & fry for about 10-15 minutes from both the sides.
  4. Then next heat a grill net, & roast the pieces well from one side till golden brown & flip them one by one & roast from the other side well.& keep it aside
  5. Next in a deep pot, add 1 tbsn oil, 2 tbsn butter,¼ cup beated cream,1 tbsn Black pepper powder, 1 tbsn chaat masala powder & let it cook on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  6. Now add roasted chicken & let the chicken cook in the gravy on medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  7. After 2 minutes switch off the flame.
  8. Transfer it into a serving dish.
  9. Garnish it with a pinch of kasuri methi, butter..
  10. Serve hot with roti.
