1. House of Paloma, Bandra
Founded by Prathik Shetty, Chethan Hegde, and Samarth Shetty, House of Paloma in Bandra has recently opened its doors, and with its vibrant menu is a must-visit on the list of new restaurants in Mumbai. On the culinary front, Chef Pranay Shinde leads the kitchen and Chef Sombir Chaudary, co-founder of SOKA Bangalore, is House of Paloma’s food consultant. Inspired by the tales of its founders’ travels, House of Paloma is fun, chic, and perfect if you’re in the mood to try Latin American-inspired flavours in Mumbai.

2. Solaire, Grand Hyatt Mumbai
The recent in the list of celebrity restaurants is Solaire by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. While it isn’t the actor’s first business venture, it is his first restaurant, and as he puts it, the first in the line of more to come.
The focus at Solaire is on food and making it exceptional. There are signature highlights like volcanic stone, a custom cocktail bar inspired by Moroccan tile art, and an adaptive lighting grid, making sure each visit to this newly opened restaurant in Mumbai is a charm!

3. HOM, Bandra

4. Toshaa Café, Andheri
If you want a new cafe in Mumbai that is focused on eating well, Toshaa is the place to go. But hey, eating well doesn’t have to be boring, and one look at Toshaa’s menu will tell you that. From Frozen Pink Coconut Lemonade to Spiced Kairi in the drinks menu, and Pink Guava Chia Bowl, Thecha Shakshuka, and black rice Arancini in the food menu, Toshaa will have you swooning in no time.

5. HyLo Taproom by Igloo at Jio World Drive, BKC
If craft beer is your thing, we’re sure HyLo Taproom is not a new name for you. Their second outlet in Mumbai has just made its way to BKC, and from laidback vibes to simple yet effective curation has us excited. They also keep bringing in specialised menus like their ongoing Durgapujor Mahabhoj and the Oktoberfest that is on till 5th of October.
This new restaurant in Mumbai offers both outdoor and indoor seating options, and their alfresco section is also pet-friendly. Need we say more?

6. The Black Shepherd, Bandra
If all that comes to your mind when we say British food is fish and chips, this new restaurant in Mumbai is the perfect place to change that. Chef Rahul Kotak’s beautiful ode to all things British, The Black Shepherd in Bandra, is fashioned after a typical gastropub.
And with its dark wood interiors, deep red couches, and British rock soundtracks, it more than lives up to the expectations. They’re expected to bring the idea of Sunday Roasts to life in Bandra as well, so if a perfect weekend outing is what you’re looking for, this is a great new restaurant in Mumbai to try!

7. Opa Kipos, Worli
The scrumptious Greek food, plate smashing, and long list of who’s who waiting for their turn is back. Opa Kipos in Worli, which had been temporarily closed in 2023, is back on Mumbai’s culinary scene. It’s bigger, better, and all the more exciting!
