Here are some upcoming K Dramas 2025 has in store for you
1. Love Scout
Currently airing week after week, this new Korean drama to watch promises to be fun, and engaging. The story follows the very common Kdrama trope of a CEO and secretary falling in love but with a twist. Kang Ji-yoon, who is the CEO of a successful headhunting company, is great at work but that’s where it ends for her. Her work is her life. Enter Yoo Eun-ho who is a single dad, and has worked really hard to strike that balance between personal and professional life. How things play out when the couple meets makes the story of this 2025 KDrama.
2. When The Stars Gossip
The new releases Korean drama world has in 2025 are quite fresh in terms of storytelling as well. This new KDrama for example, is set in the world of space station. The story follows a space station tourist/doctor Gong Ryong, who has a very strong sense of responsibility. This is where he meets Eve Kim, a Korean-American astronaut, and how the journey unfolds makes the plot for this 2025 KDrama.
3. Newtopia
Expected to release sometime in February this year, Newtopia is an upcoming Korean series which mixes romance with dystopia. Lee Jae-yoon is a soldier who has enlisted a little later than his peers and is already anxious about what future holds for him. His girlfriend, Kang Young-ju is very pretty. Nicknamed ‘Goddess of Engineering Department’ in her college days, she now works in a company as a rookie. While he is away, a virus breaks out in the city that is turning people into zombies. Before it completely takes over, the couple is determined to find each other.
4. Knock Off
A crime comedy upcoming Korean series set to release sometime in 2025, Knock Off traces the story of Kim Seong-jun, who begins working as a VP of a counterfeit goods company after losing his job, and his ex-girlfriend Song Hye-Jeong who is a special judicial police officer in charge of cracking down on counterfeit goods. What happens when their paths cross again is what makes this one of the more interesting of the new upcoming Korean dramas.
5. All The Love You Wish For
If new Korean dramas in the fantasy genre are what you want, look no further. This upcoming Kdrama, set to release later this year explores the story of Jinn, a genie who awakens after a thousand years, and its now master Ka-young. In a series of sometimes hilarious-sometimes heartwarming scenarios, how they fall in love makes for the plot of this 2025 Kdrama.
