InsideOut 2 

In this sequel to the big success, we go back inside Riley's head as she enters puberty and experiences all the feelings that come with it. One of the best Hollywood movies 2024, this is a film for all ages! Now that Riley is thirteen years old, the original cast members—Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Fear (Tony Hale, who replaced Bill Hader), and Disgust (Liza Lapira, who replaced Mindy Kaling)—remain at her headquarters. Inside Out 2 follows the same basic plot as the first film, with the protagonists setting off on a quest to get Riley back to the main office. An additional stop on Riley's journey is a prison-like location that she uses to store her secrets and, coincidentally, where Joy has been dumping a lot of Riley's painful memories. Nothing compares to the wonder of discovering Riley's intricate inner world for the first time. Their athletic, blonde host is feeling the effects of anxiety and Joy's interference.

Dune 2 

The best Hollywood movies, 2024, This is the grand-scale sequel to the widely celebrated first film. Director Denis Villeneuve has pushed the envelope even further in his sequel to 2021's "Dune," an adaptation of Frank Herbert's dystopian masterpiece. The plot picks up where the previous film left off, and the sequel takes a daring turn in picking up the tale, providing fantastical yet recognisable imagery. Villeneuve shows off her skills much like Timothée Chalamet's dashingly coiffed hero, who charioteers enormous sandworms over the desert. "Dune: Part Two" captivates audiences by revitalising the art of cinematic spectacle.

Venom: The Last Dance 

Tom Hardy stars as journalist Eddie Brock, who remains bound to the alien symbiote Venom in the October 25th release of "Venom: The Last Dance" from Columbia Pictures. Spectacular combat scenes, in which aliens seem to bounce off walls, are a trademark of the "Venom" films. When the nasty symbiote-hunting Xenophages are introduced in "The Last Dance," the combat scenes seem insane.Similar to the previous two films, the stakes in this one are appropriately high. All of the symbiotes, not just Venom, will be needed to defeat Knull, the symbiotes' creator. You must see the last installment in the critically acclaimed Venom saga; it was a box-office blockbuster.

Nickel Boys 

RaMell Ross, in his debut dramatic feature, takes more risks and uses more imagination than any other filmmaker working today to adapt a great novel—the fear of betraying the admirable source material makes it difficult to adapt. The novel in question is "The Great Gatsby" by Colson Whitehead, published in 2019. With the necessary complex choreography of action and camera, he transforms a realistic third-person narrative—about two Black teenagers incarcerated in a brutal and segregated juvenile detention centre in Florida in the 1960s—into the subjective visions of the two friends. In the end, it's a style that makes a political and moral dilemma out of the concept of point of view, both in film and in real life. One of the best Hollywood movies 2024, The starring actor, Colmin Domingo, is expected to have a successful Oscar run this year and has already received nominations for the Golden Globes in 2025!

The Substance 

"The Substance" is propelled by its biting satire. Once losing her long-running role on network television, actress Elisabeth Sparkle (Demi Moore) tries an experimental medicine known as "the substance" in the hopes of regaining her youthful appearance once she turns 50. Substance: the titular substance gives her the ability to transform into a younger version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley, for a short period of time. 
The satire is immediately apparent in this synopsis; "The Substance" takes aim at Hollywood and the exploitation of women due to their unrealistic beauty standards. The titular Substance, according to the many in-film commercials, does more than just make you younger; it also makes you better. Just so you know, this isn't a movie for the faint of heart!

His Three Daughters 

Azazel Jacobs, who demonstrated his talent for honest and insightful examinations of New York family dynamics in his 2008 breakthrough hit Momma's Man, wrote and directed His Three Daughters, a masterwork of minimalism and grace, masterfully balancing tragedy and comedy. The script and the performances—and what performances!—are the focal points of this understated, unassuming picture. All three stars would be heavy favourites to win big next season if the world were fair. Coon, in her role as Katie, uses a rapid-fire barrage of judgement lines while positioned behind crossed arms and an air of dominance. Christina, played by Olsen, is the youngest; she's a bit of a space cadet with a serene, somewhat bewildered grin and an air of perpetual disconnection. Lyonne proves she's just as talented as a serious actress as she is a comic, and her portrayal of the stepsister and outcast Rachel is delightfully authentic.
