Arjun Kapoor just walked into Rohit Shetty's famous cop universe, but here lies the catch. He does not play the protagonist but a villain, in 'Singham Again'. The actor earlier today posted his first look from the movie. The eerie and gory photo shows Arjun's face smeared with blood. The second shot showcases him with Simmba, that is Ranveer Singh. It looks like the 'Gunday' actor will have an important role in the much awaited film.

Arjun, in the caption of his Instagram post mentioned how he is feeling 'on top of the world being a part of hit-machine Rohit Shetty sir's cop universe'. He has promised his fans that there will be mayhem with 'Singham Again'. Meanwhile Ranveer Singh, Arjun's 'Gunday' co-actor commented, "My baba baddest".
Interestingly, Ranveer who played Simmba in Rohit Shetty's 2018 cop film with the same name is also a part of 'Singham Again'. Sharing Arjun's first look as a villain, filmmaker Rohit wrote on his Instagram, "Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai... Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai". It loosely translates to man makes mistakes and he gets punished for that too.. but now whoever will come, will be the evil.
With 'Singham Again', Rohit Shetty will be back with the fifth installment of the ‘Singham’ franchise. The upcoming release is a sequel to 2014's 'Singham Returns' and the film is all set to have a release on August 15, 2024, coinciding with Independence Day. Apart from Arjun and Ranveer, the stellar cast in 'Singham Again' includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff will be seen doing cameo roles.
