The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule revealed the first look of Rashmika Mandanna in a new poster. She will be reprising the role of Srivalli, in the Allu Arjun film. The poster showcases Rashmika looking as stunning as ever in a green saree. Her captivating eyes speak about a lot of emotions in the close-up frame, where the actress looks stern. On her 28th birthday which happens to be on April 5, 2024, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule unveiled the poster and revealed the teaser and the release date of the movie.
The caption on the post read, "HBD Srivalli." The text accompanying the poster read, "Wishing the nation's heartthrob 'Srivalli' aka Rashmika Mandanna a very Happy Birthday. #Pushpa2TheRuleTeaser on April 8th #PushpaMassJaathara. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024."
Allu Arjun's first look from the film was released last year. The lead actor from the film was seen in a saree with his face painted in red and blue colour. He had donned traditional gold and floral jewellery which included jhumkas, bangles and a nose ring.
The first part of Pushpa: The Rise was released in 2021 and was a blockbuster hit, showcasing the power conflict set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling. Songs like 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava', 'Srivalli' and 'Saami Saami' became iconic dance numbers. The sequel will have the notable cast of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj who will continue with the narrative.
The writer and director of ‘Pushpa 2-The Rule’ has been Sukumar and is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. The film is set to release on August 15 this year. The last leg of filming Pushpa 2- The Rule reportedly is happening in Vizag. There are speculations that Samantha Ruth Prabhu may have a small role in the film and that Sanjay Dutt will also be making a guest appearance in the movie.
