Of all the hits Salman Khan has pulled off throughout his career, the Dabangg franchise is quite possibly one of his most successful ventures so far. And with three installments out already, fans are waiting for the fourth, but of course. Salman Khan's brother Arbaaz Khan who had directed Dabangg 2 has confirmed to an Indian media publication that Dabangg 4 is in its production stage. During a press conference, he revealed his eagerness to commence work on the fourth instalment of the franchise.
Atlee to direct Dabangg 4?
The first three instalments of Salman Khan's Dabangg rocked at the box office and his fans are clearly expecting him to reprise his iconic role as inspector Chulbul Pandey. According to an earlier report published by Tele Chakkar, south director Atlee would be directing Dabangg 4. However, this is not true. For the unversed, Atlee was the director of the mega-blockbuster movie Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, that released last year. The rumours of the director collaborating with Salman has been doing rounds since a long time. However, if these rumours were true, then fans would have got a double dose of entertainment and action through Salman and Atlee's collaboration.
He also added that Salman is very much interested in doing Dabangg 4, but the movie will only be released when the 'time is right'. Arbaaz further said that he and his bhai Salman are busy with their respective projects which is delaying the shoot of Dabangg 4. He also revealed that he would love to direct the fourth instalment of the Dabangg franchise, but nothing has been finalised as of now. Salman has many projects in the pipeline apart from Dabangg 4 including Tiger versus Pathaan with SRK. He will also do a new movie with Sajid Nadiadwala which will be directed by AR Murugadoss. This high-octane drama film is set to hit the big screens during Eid 2025.
