While Zendaya’s stunning gown and rumoured engagement ring might have stolen the spotlight at the Golden Globes red carpet, the film wasn’t far behind. The film features a love triangle between the three tennis professionals ie  Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), a former tennis prodigy turned coach, her husband, Art Donaldson (Mike Faist), a rising tennis star, and her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Zweig (Josh O'Connor), a talented player on the ATP Challenger Tour over 13 years of their relationship, culminating in the latter two's match on the ATP Challenger Tour.

Demi Moore made quite a comeback at the awards season with this film, and the horror comedy is not for the fainthearted. Featuring Demi Moore as Elisabeth Sparkle, a fading celebrity who, after being fired by her producer (Dennis Quaid) due to her age, uses a black market drug that creates a much younger version of herself, The Substance is one of the eeriest Golden Globe award movies to watch this year.
