JGM - starring Vijay Devarakonda and Pooja Hegde, is all set to release on August 3, 2023. It’s produced by Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally and Puri Jagannadh, with the screenplay, dialogue and direction by Puri Jagannadh. The action entertainer is a pan India film releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Vijay Devarakonda said about the movie, “I am supremely excited about JGM as it's one of the most striking and challenging scripts. The story is special and it will touch every Indian. I am honoured to be a part of Puri’s dream project. Looking forward to working with Charmme and her team. My character in JGM is refreshing and I am sure it will leave an impact on the audiences.”

It is believed that JGM will be Vijay’s next breakthrough performance in the action comedy space, in which he will play a soldier. The movie’s filming began in April 2022 and spanned a number of international locations. After the film Liger, Vijay Devarakonda and Puri Jagannadh will work together again on JGM.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be returning to the big screens with a bang through his upcoming movie Jailer helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, set to release on 10 August. It is the first time that the iconic actor has collaborated with Nelson. Rajinikanth, who plays the title role, will take on a fascinating new look in the film. But so far, nothing is known about the character played by the seasoned actor.

Jailer also features Tamannaah in a significant role and co-stars Ramya Krishnan in a darkly shaded character. Rajinikanth will play the jail superintendent in the Sun Pictures-backed film Jailer. Veteran director KS Ravikumar wrote the screenplay. The soundtrack for the movie is composed by rockstar Anirudh.

The film, which will be Rajinikanth’s 169th, is being produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. Well-known stylist Aalim Hakim has been roped in to style Rajinikanth for Jailer. Apart from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil and Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu will also be seen in crucial roles. There is also buzz that Siva Karthikeyan will make a cameo appearance in the movie. After Jailer, Rajinikanth will also soon commence work on his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s film, Laal Salaam. The veteran actor will be seen playing an extended cameo in the movie.

OMG 2 stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The movie will feature Pankaj Tripathi as well, and Yami Gautam will join him as the female star. OMG 2 will release on August 11, 2023 in theatres across India. This date is special because the film is set to clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.

The trailer of OMG 2 was recently released by the makers of the film, in which Akshay Kumar is seen in the role of Lord Shankar and Pankaj Tripathi is seen in the role of an ultimate Shiva devotee. Seeing the teaser of the film, it is clear that this time too, like the previous part, an interesting story has been woven around the relationship between God and man.

Sunny Deol brings an intense action avatar in Gadar 2 which is slated to release on August 11, 2023 clashing with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. As Gadar 2 serves as the sequel of the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the actors who will be reprising their roles in the movie are Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, Ameesha Patel as Sakeena aka Sakku, Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet Singh aka Jeete, among others.

Anil Sharma bankrolled the film under the banner Anil Sharma Productions in association with Zee Studios. Anil Sharma is once again in the director’s chair, the story is written by Shaktimaan Talwar. Gadar 2 will continue the story of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and his family. In the first instalment, Singh crossed the border to bring his wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) back. In the second film, the couple will now face the consequences of their actions in the first film.

King of Kotha, Dulquer Salmaan’s next Malayalam film, gives a glimpse of the actor’s intense avatar. It depicts how King a.k.a Dulquer returns to save the people of Kotha and their land from the wicked naysayers. He is seen in an action-packed avatar in a recently released teaser. Sharing the video, Dulquer wrote, "Hold your breath as we present the action-packed Teaser of #KingOfKotha. Get ready for a blast this ONAM 2023! #KingOfKothaTeaser #OutNow."

Dulquer's portrayal as the 'King' is refreshingly intense and leaves a lasting impression. Helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, the film is scheduled for a festive release on Onam this year, which is August 25, 2023. The pan-India film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
