This Coldplay tour also happens to be one of the most attended tours by a group in history.
Coldplay’s last tour in India
Prior to the Coldplay tour 2025, the band has performed in India once. Back in 2016, the band performed in India as a part of the Global Citizen Festival, with many other performances. Chris Martin had however stolen hearts back then too. Not only with their songs and performances but also the once-in-a-lifetime moments that Coldplay gave us.
Even with a lineup that included their biggest hits like 'Head Full Of Dreams', 'Yellow', 'Paradise' and ‘Hymn For The Weekend', any fan will tell what the best part of the Coldplay concert in India in 2016 was ‘Fix You’. Loved the world over, ‘Fix You’ is an anthem for fans, and if you’ve ever experienced it being sung by Coldplay live, you can easily understand why.
Coldplay in Abu Dhabi
Right after the announcement, Coldplay's tickets went on sale in India and sold out before one could blink. While the Coldplay concert in India is scheduled for the 18th, 19th, and 21st of January 2025, the one in Abu Dhabi is on the 11th of January, and the tickets will be available on the Grammy-winning band's website from the 25th to the 27th of September, 2025.
For the Indian fans of Coldplay, who had high hopes, a quick trip to Abu Dhabi where they can see their favourite band play, in addition to all the places to visit in Abu Dhabi we have written about would be a great way to start the year. Coldplay concert in Abu Dhabi will be hosted in the Zayed Sports City Museum, which happens to have a capacity of 45,000 but given that it is their only show in GCC, the rush for tickets is expected to match that of India. While the opening guest musician for India has yet to be announced, Palestinian Chilean musician Elyanna will be opening for a Coldplay concert in Abu Dhabi. The fact that Abu Dhabi was recently announced as the safest city in the world, only makes it better.
