The famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is renowned for its diverse lineup, curating a soundscape that transcends borders. This year, the Californian desert welcomes a wave of musical brilliance from India, further solidifying its commitment to global artistic expression.

Three captivating talents – AP Dhillon, NAV, and Sid Sriram – are poised to enthral audiences across the two festival weekends (April 12th-14th & 19th-21st).

AP Dhillon, the Indian-Canadian singer, has taken the world by storm with his unique blend of Punjabi lyrics and contemporary hip-hop beats. His infectious energy and gripping stage presence are sure to ignite the festival atmosphere.

Dhillon shared the news with his fans in his upbeat style mentioning — “Majhe aale in the desert”.

NAV, another Canadian artist of Indian descent, brings his signature smooth flow and introspective lyricism to the Coachella stage.  His collaborations with global superstars like Drake and The Weeknd have cemented his position as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Sid Sriram, the Chennai-born singer-songwriter, adds a distinct layer of melody to the mix. His soulful vocals and ability to weave classical Indian influences into contemporary soundscapes have garnered him a dedicated fanbase.

Sriram shared the big news with his fans on his Instagram quoting, “We play day 1, both weekends. A legendary set is a promise. Just the beginning.” He then added another story to say, “When I say the legendary set is a promise, I mean that sh*t with my chest man. Deep, deep energy.”

Coachella's embrace of Indian artists extends past the performance stage. The festival experience thrives on a glittering diversity of cultures. This year, attendees can anticipate a potential exploration of Indian art, fashion, and cuisine, further enriching the overall festival experience.

The inclusion of these three artists is indicative of a burgeoning trend. As the cultural landscape continues to evolve, so too does the mainstream acceptance of music that transcends geographical boundaries. Coachella 2024 paves the way for a future where global music festivals become even more inclusive, celebrating the richness and diversity of the international soundscape.
