All About Taapsee Pannu’s Hush-Hush Wedding To Mathias Boe

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu got married to her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in a private and secret wedding ceremony in Udaipur on March 23. The hush-hush wedding event was attended by her close buddies Anurag Kashyap and Pavail Gulati. Taapsee's buddy Pavail posted a cheerful group picture that had Taapsee's sister Shagun Pannu, cousin Evania Pannu, actor Abhilash Thapliyal and badminton player Chirag Shetty. The caption, "IYKYK (If You Know, You Know)" added a cryptic touch to the post, sparking speculation about the wedding. Abhilash's comment, "Congrats coach", further fuelled rumours related to the wedding event. 

According to a source who told News18, "The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started on March 20 The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.” 

It was further revealed that “Taapsee’s Dobaaraa and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati joined the guests at her and Mathais’ wedding. Anurag Kashyap, who shares a rather close bond with Taapsee and has directed her in films like Manmarziyaan and Dobaara and produced Saand Ki Aankh also flew to Udaipur". 

The report further mentioned that the wedding of Taapsee and Mathias was a destination affair in Udaipur and the rituals took place as per both Sikh and Christian cultures. The couple wanted to weave the traditions of Sikhism and Christianity in their celebration, which symbolised their love and embracing the varied cultures. The Dunki actress is one of the few stars who is known to keep her personal life private. She has been dating Mathias for a decade now, but she has never opened about her relationship in public.

The actress has found contentment with her long-term relationship. She has been with the same person since the last 10 years and has found happiness with her lifelong partner. Her Instagram posts with Mathias reveal that neither she nor Mathias are inclined towards public displays of affection (PDA). However, her mushy captions reveal that she has never hesitated to acknowledge her relationship openly.

For the unversed, the couple reportedly crossed paths in 2013, when the actress had made her Bollywood debut with Chashme Baddoor. She had met the love of her life during a badminton match, where she was a spectator and Mathiew was playing. Here’s wishing the couple a lifetime of happiness.
