After Bobby Deol, Is Sandeep Reddy Vanga Considering Vicky Kaushal As The Villain In 'Animal Park'?

Post the success of 'Animal', fans are waiting for the much-awaited sequel 'Animal Park'. However, according to latest speculations, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has kept many surprises stored in for his fans. The 'Kabir Singh' director is thinking of getting Vicky Kaushal on board for the sequel of his blockbuster hit film 'Animal'. 

While there has been no official confirmation neither by Vicky nor by Sandeep, the involvement of the stellar actor will add an additional element of anticipations for all 'Animal' fans. Sadly, this update may have got a lot of disappointments to all the fans of Bobby Deol who were hopeful that he would come back in the sequel of the gangster drama movie. However, Vicky's fans cannot stop being excited and are totally hoping that the news gets confirmed.

Speculations indicate that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been seeing many options for the lead antagonist against Ranbir Kapoor in the movie, and he thinks Vicky's name fits the bill as a villain. 

While Vicky will step into the shoes of Bobby, only time will tell if he could turn the film into a blockbuster like 'Animal'. This could surely be an interesting cast. In the first part of the film, 'Lord Bobby' took the role of the antagonist and his intense fighting scenes with Ranbir gave him a lot of love from his fans.

The makers of 'Animal 2' aka 'Animal Park' had made the official announcement of the film in December 2023. Sharing the news on Instagram, T-Series had written, "It’s a partnership built on trust, fuelled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. Producer Bhushan Kumar and Director #SandeepReddyVanga unveil the next cinematic wonders—Prabhas’ Spirit, Animal Park, and an Allu Arjun saga—the chapters that follow the monumental success of Kabir Singh and #Animal.” 

Talking about ‘Animal’  the film released on December 1, 2023, and was on the complex relationship between a father and a son. The storyline showed Ranvijay essayed by Ranbir as an anti-hero who would go to any length, like killing 200 men with a machine gun, to protect his dad. Despite his efforts, he is unable to find respect and love in the eyes of his father who is emotionally distant, essayed by Anil Kapoor. The movie made INR 900 crore at the box office, which is just wow.

Do you know why the movie is called Animal Park?

Spoiler alert ahead! If you have seen the film, you would have seen the revelation made by Rannvijay's grandfather related to Bobby Deol's character, his multiple marriages, and kids. This could mean that there is not a single 'Animal' but many hence suggesting the concept of a park. The hint maybe towards expanding the 'Animal' universe.
