Indian weddings are incomplete without song and dance. From sangeet to mehendi, an upbeat and groovy wedding playlist accompanies all wedding preparations and events. So, here are some of the best Punjabi dance songs to add to your wedding playlist.

With its upbeat lyrics and dance-worthy tunes, this energetic Punjabi song elevates the mood at every wedding. ‘Sauda Khara Khara’ from the movie Good Newws is based on Sukhbir's original Punjabi pop song of the same name. Lijo George composed the new version, which was sung by Diljit Dosanjh, Sukhbir and Dhvani Bhanushali. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.

This peppy Punjabi track is ideal for the bride's entrance. Originally composed by Panjabi MC, the song was recreated for the movie Badhaai Ho, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra. Tanishk Bagchi composed the new version, which was sung by Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar. MellowD wrote the lyrics for this track.

Guru Randhawa, Intense and Rajat Nagpal composed the track sung by Guru Randhawa and Arjun, who also wrote the lyrics. The Punjabi dance song featured in the movie Hindi Medium starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar.

‘London Thumakda’ is undoubtedly the ultimate wedding song. Amit Trivedi composed the chartbuster which is from the movie Queen, which stars Kangana Ranaut. Labh Janjua, Sonu Kakkar and Neha Kakkar sang the song. The movie also stars Rajkummar Rao, Lisa Haydon, Jeffrey Ho, among others.

'Wakhra Swag' adds the right amount of swag to any Indian wedding. Badshah composed this Punjabi dance song and Navv Inder sang it while Navi Kamboz penned the lyrics. The famous Punjabi track was later remixed by Bollywood music composer Tanishk Bagchi for the movie Judgementall Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. The remixed version also features additional vocals from Lisa Mishra and rap by Raja Kumari.

The Punjabi party song by Hans Raj Hans has been ruling hearts for more than a decade. It’s originally from Hans’ folk album Chorni and the lyrics were penned by Sham Balkar. The hit Punjabi song was later remixed for the Bollywood movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which stars Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Sunny Singh. Honey Singh created the remixed version with additional vocals from Simar Kaur, Ishers and the composer himself.

This soul-stirring composition by maestro A.R. Rahman is a must-have on every Indian wedding playlist. Arijit Singh sang the romantic track, which was penned by legendary lyricist Gulzar. The song is from the movie OK Jaanu, which stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
