The month of May is loaded with big surprises. While Mumbaikars are still reeling from the Backstreet Boys’ first live concert in India that took place on May 4, we have another international singing sensation who’s made his way to India. The Nigerian singing sensation Rema is performing in Mumbai this Saturday. Does anything get better than this? We bet not. So, from Rema’s first live concert in India to Mother’s Day curated experiences to make it special for your mom, there’s a fun-filled weekend ahead.

The Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper who has taken the music world by storm is all set to perform this Saturday in Mumbai. Fans can expect some of his biggest hits along with new music from his latest album, Rave & Roses. Not just that, West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle will also make a surprise guest appearance on the stage where Rema will premiere his new track.

Art lovers enter the world of colour and illusion with 'Lines of Inquiry' by Ashna Malik, a multidisciplinary artist who uses a combination of traditional and digital media to investigate ideas of perception, distortion, immersion and experience. Through paintings, interactive projections, and laser cut wall sculptures, Ashna’s work compels the viewer to question the nature of their own reality.

At Pavilion 1, there’s a first-of-its-kind costume art exhibition ‘India in Fashion’ that features iconic costumes from all over the world. At the Art House, there’s a contemporary visual arts exhibition featuring Indian and international artists. And then of course, there’s The Sound of Music, the Tony Award winning international Broadway musical which you definitely don’t want to miss.

Helmed by chef Rachel Goenka, the menu is a beautiful fusion of classic dishes with modern twists and unique cocktails. The brunch menu features classic breakfast staples such as scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, sunny side up dusted with dukkah, akuri skillet served with poi, creamy truffle scrambled eggs, Goan chorizo omelette and Atlantic smoked salmon, poached egg with truffle queso. That’s not it. They also have warm lemony couscous, grilled chicken salad with green apple and broccoli and sweet chilli spiced roasted pumpkin salad. Add loaded nachos, apple wood smoked beetroot and goat cheese croquettes, K-pop chicken wings, mixed veg ramen with coconut broth, chargrilled chicken burger, and lamb kheema pav. All this paired with impressive cocktails such as eclipse, sassy, monochrome and marigold.
