While the tickets had already been announced and booked, fans were eagerly waiting for the 2025 Lollapalooza lineup, and it’s finally here! For the third edition of Lollapalooza in India, the lineup has a great variety, and promises to be quite a blast. For the first edition of Lollapalooza, which was held in 2023, at the Mahalakshmi Racecourse in Mumbai, lineup included acts by artists like Imagine Dragons, Diplo, Cigarettes After Sex, and AP Dhillon. The second edition, was quite a mixed bag too. Raghu Dixit, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, One Republic, Anoushka Shankar, and Sting were part of the Lollapalooza lineup in 2024.
This year too, the fans who had already booked Lollapalooza tickets were waiting for the lineup to be announced, and the organisers recently made the list public.
Here are some big names that’ll be seen performing in Lollapalooza 2025
1. Shawn Mendes
The Canadian singer-songwriter is one of the biggest pop music names in the Lollapalooza lineup. With massive hits like ‘Treat You Better’ and ‘Señorita’ under his belt, the singer is also expected to release his next album Shawn later this year, and it’ll be interesting which tracks will make it to the set he’s slated to perform at Lollapalooza 2025 in March next year.
2. Zedd
From festival anthems to Grammy wins, Zedd needs no introduction. The German music producer and DJ has just released his third album Telos in August 2024, after a nearly 9-year-long wait. Currently, he’s just wrapped up his album tour across the states, and we can’t wait to see him bring his mega-energy act to Lollapalooza next year in Mumbai.
3. Hanumankind
After making his mark worldwide with his smash hit, ‘Big Dawgs’, Hanumankind is set to perform at Lollapalooza 2025, and desi fans can’t keep calm! Currently, he is performing all over the world, with the latest being in London. The show is scheduled for November 3rd, which will be his next after September shows in Bangalore and Mumbai.
4. Green Day
The legendary American rock band, known for not only their music but also the socially conscious lyrics is another of the much-awaited acts in the Lollapalooza lineup for the coming edition. One of the most sold artists of all time, Green Day will be the ultimate millennial redemption for last year’s lineup.
5. Louis Tomlinson
While millennials might always think of One Direction when Louis Tomlinson’s name comes up, the younger crowd at Lollapalooza knows him for the banger that he’s been churning for some time now. The British singer wrapped up his album tour in 2023, and has since been playing at festivals. The Lollapalooza lineup in India isn’t the only one, he’s also played at the Lollapalooza Berlin, this September.
6. Glass Animals
The British indie rock band is another act in the Lollapalooza lineup for Mumbai that has everyone excited. 2024 saw them releasing their 4th album titled I Love You So F***ing Much in July. We can’t wait to see what the daywise lineup for Lollapalooza 2025 edition is, simply to be able to catch all of the aforementioned acts, and then Glass Animals!
7. Lisa Mishra
The American singer-songwriter, who made it big with her rendition of ‘Tareefan’ from Veere Di Wedding years ago, has come a long way. With her debut album released this year, Lisa has also managed to make it to the esteemed Lollapalooza lineup, and we can’t wait to see the energy she brings to the stage.
8. Talwiinder
You can talk about other genres as much as you’d like, nobody does bangers better than Punjabi singers, Talwiinder for example. 2024 has been quite a year for the Delhi-born singer, with a Rolling Stones cover, and then apart from Lollapalooza, Talwiinder will also be performing at the Feeding India concert, which also happens to be Dua Lipa’s first concert in India.
9. Aurora
Whether you came across her thanks to Instagram reels, or just happen to have a great taste in music, Aurora’s ethereal vocals are sure to add a different charm to the Lollapalooza lineup. We know, that ‘Runaway’ would obviously be part of the set, but we can’t wait to see what others, especially from her newly released album What Happened To The Heart? Make it to the stage.
