1. Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 

Expected to pick up from where Part 1 of this series had ended, the sequel to the much-loved Netflix web series, Wednesday, promises another spine-chilling supernatural mystery. Following the story of Wednesday Adams (played by Jenna Ortega) as she returns to Nevermore Academy, this time the narrative is also expected to focus on Wednesday’s equation with her family members.

2. Task 

A HBO series extending across seven episodes, Task stars Mark Ruffalo as an FBI agent who is assigned to investigate a series of violent robberies. An intense thriller series, where he finds himself caught in a cat-and-mouse game with an unsuspecting family man, this whodunit OTT release is sure to keep you hooked.

3. The Morning Show Season 4 

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon return in this acclaimed newsroom drama. Following a weekly release format, spanning across ten episodes, this new season of The Morning Show promises more behind-the-scenes intensity in the broadcast media’s ethical battleground.

4. Inspector Zende 

A gripping crime drama that is based on real-life events, Inspector Zende is one of the new movies in the OTT list for September. A riveting cat and mouse chase between a seasoned Mumbai cop, Madhukar Zende (played by Manoj Bajpayee) and the notorious Charles Sobhraj (played by Jim Sarbh), this movie narrates the two monumental arrests of the ‘Bikini Killer’.

6. Gen V Season 2 

An electrifying continuation of The Boys universe, this spinoff thrusts us deeper into the brutal world of Godolkin University under martial law. This season of Gen V also honours the late Chance Perdomo with a poignant narrative tribute.

7. Only Murders in the Building Season 5 

A much-acclaimed and beloved series, Only Murders in the Building is back again this September with another brand new season. This season marks the return of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, who are the original trio. This time the story follows the murder mystery of Lester (played by Teddy Coluca), the doorman of Arconia, who was killed in the last season of the series. The first three episodes of Season 5 of the show will premiere on September 9.

8. The Ba***ds of Bollywood 

Created by Aryan Khan, the upcoming release of The Ba***ds of Bollywood is one of the most anticipated OTT releases this year. This new movie in the OTT list follows the story of Aasman Singh (played by Lakshya Lalwani), who is an outsider to the industry and is navigating his way through the showbiz landscape amidst his close-knit group of friends, trying to make a mark in Bollywood. With an ensemble and talented cast, this debut directorial by Aryan Khan surely has got everyone waiting eagerly.

9. Slow Horses Season 5 

A darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of M15 intelligence agents, the upcoming season of Slow Horses is surely a much-awaited release this year. 10. Alice in Borderland Season 3 

Netflix’s beloved sci-fi thriller, Alice in Borderland, is back with a third season this September. With the return of Yuzuha Usagi (played by Tao Tsuchiya) and Ryohei Arisu (played by Kento Yamazaki), this upcoming season navigates through the various challenges that they face while competing in a series of deadly games set in a parallel version of Tokyo.

11. Do You Wanna Partner

Another major series releasing in September this year is Do You Wanna Partner, starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty in the lead roles. A lively and new-age comedy drama with a distinct Indian flavour, the plot follows two spirited best friends, Shikha and Anahita, who set out to revolutionise the craft beer industry by launching their very own alcohol start up.
