Taapsee Pannu is a hard-core Punjaban who loves to eat! But her profession and the kind of roles she chooses are such that they require her to be in a certain shape and build from time to time.

Her nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal reveals that the ‘Shabaash Mithu’ actor’s diet is altered based on the season, the role she is playing, and the location she’s shooting at.

The nutrition expert and author also gives us a quick sneak peek into Taapsee’s overall diet.

Taapsee begins her day with an herbal drink that has immunity-boosting effects. The drink differs based on season and the actor’s location since she travels a lot.

Amla tea, fennel tea and cinnamon tea are a few of the many herbal drinks that have been part of her morning routine, so far.

During summertime, the ‘Shabaash Mithu’ actor beats the heat by sipping on cooling sherbets, such as rhododendron, kokum, and masala shikanji.

Her recent diet was a mix of carbs, proteins, fibre, and fats. Millets have been a major part of her diet, including ragi and jowar.

Lunch is the biggest meal of her day, and for which, she prefers a simple, homemade meal featuring dal, sabzi, roti and curd.

She is fond of fish and meat and can eat them every day. But the actor now believes in moderation in its consumption and eats these only once or twice a week.

The Bollywood actor also takes supplements, as needed, and is advised by her nutritionist. For instance, during her ‘Rashmi Rocket’ prep, she was taking whey isolate, potassium, calcium, omega-3, vitamin D3, and several others.

Taapsee complements her diet with a rigorous workout, which also differs from time to time based on the role she is playing. The actor is currently in the news for the trailer launch of 'Shabaash Mithu', a biopic on legendary Indian batter Mithali Raj.
