INGREDIENTS

  • For Stuffing

    • 2 tbsp oil

    • 1 cup thinly sliced onions

    • 1/3 cup thinly sliced cabbage

    • 1/3 cup thinly sliced carrots

    • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper

    • tbsp chopped garlic and ginger

    • salt to taste

    • 1 tsp soya sauce

    • 1 tbsp green chilli sauce

    • 1 tsp red chilli sauce

    • 1/2 tsp white vinegar

    • pinch of white pepper powder

  • For the Dough

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • 1 tbsp oil

    • salt to taste

    • water as required

  • For Momo

    • grated cheese

  • For Serving

    • chilli flakes

    • chilli oil

    • red chilli sauce

    • green chilli sauce

    • Schezwan chutney

    • mayonnaise

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions, cabbage, carrots and red bell pepper and mix well. Now add chopped ginger and garlic and salt and cook well.

    Add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, white vinegar and white pepper powder to the mixture and allow it to cool.

    In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, oil, salt and water to make a dough. Rest the dough for 30 min.

    Take a large portion of the dough and roll it.

    Spread grated cheese, momo stuffing, again grated cheese on it and fold it in momo shape. Apply some water on the top.

    Now place this momo in a steamer and steam for 20 min.

    Sprinkle red chilli flakes on the Jumbo Momo, drizzle chilli oil, red chilli sauce and green chilli sauce and serve with Schezwan chutney and mayonnaise.
