  • For Chana Masala Chaat

    • 2 tbsp mustard oil

    • 1/4 cup chopped onion

    • 1 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

    • 1 tsp chopped green chilli

    • 1 cup chopped tomato

    • 1/4 cup boiled black chickpeas

    • 1/4 cup boiled white chickpeas

    • 1/2 tsp dry mango powder

    • 1 tsp chaat masala

    • salt to taste

    • pinch of red chilli powder

  • For Garnish

    • beetroort shavings

    • grated carrot

    • grated ginger

    • freshly grated coconut

    • mint chutney

    • chopped coriander leaves

    • cumin powder

    • lemon juice

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a pan and add onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilli and tomatoes, mix well and cook for a few minutes.

    Now add black chickpeas, white chickpeas and mix well. Next add dry mango powder, chaat masala, salt and red chilli powder, switch off the flame and mix well.

    Transfer the chaat to a serving bowl and garnish with beetroot shavings, grated carrot, grated ginger, freshly grated coconut, mint chutney, chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder and a dash of lemon.
