1. Broadway Musical ‘The Sound of Music’ at NMACC
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre bringing the International Broadway Musical Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘The Sound of Music’ to India for the first time has to be the highlight this weekend.
The 5-time Tony Award winning show is a beautiful portrayal of the triumph of human spirit through music, romance, and happiness over conflict. With Simone Genatt and Marc Routh as executive producers and Eric Cornell as its general manager, it features 26 iconic songs like ‘My Favorite Things’, ‘Do Re Mi’, ‘The Hills are Alive’ and ‘Sixteen Going on Seventeen’. Experience it live for an evening filled with pure nostalgia.

2. The Lankan Sojourn at JW Marriott Sahar
If you love Sri Lankan food, you’re in for a treat this weekend as JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar got Kuala Lumpur’s award-winning restaurant, Aliyaa Island Restaurant and Bar, for an exclusive two-day pop up. Expect exquisite flavours, thoughtfully curated dishes with the finest ingredients sourced from the island country. The menu features signature dishes such as yarl mutton varuval, prawn poriyal, vaaliakai, drumstick sothi, beetroot peratal, gotukola, string hoppers, karuveppilai rice, eggplant theeyal, murungakai perta, and desserts like payasam, wattalapam and sweet Appam.

3. A new all-day breakfast menu at Silly
One of your favourite restaurants in the suburbs has launched a new all-day breakfast menu called ‘A Silly Breakfast on Road No. 5’. Curated by chef Gaurav Gidwani, consulting chef at Silly, the menu is an amalgamation of international breakfast favourites with some long lost traditional Indian delicacies such as Kota station aloo puri, Ajay Bhai ke parathe, Japanese soufflé pancakes, Turkish eggs, Mediterranean influences with the shakshuka, English breakfast tray, and so much more.

4. New brunch menu at PCO
With an aim to bring back the trend of heavily garnished small plates PCO is launching a new Bubble Brunch menu this Sunday. Curated by head chef Edjose Fernandes, the menu is a delightful mix of international breakfast favourites with locally sourced ingredients. Expect signature egg dishes such as croque madame, birds in a basket, monsieur fungi, Belgian pork belly skewers, dynamite water chestnut, and bacon wrapped prawn. Pair them with their new and refreshing cocktails such as sbagliato and Peach Sangrias, to name a few.

5. Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with Kiki and Pastor Pop Up at Saz Café
A celebration of Cinco de Mayo to showcase Mexican heritage is all set to take place this weekend at a special pop up event featuring Kiki and Pastor, a Mexican delivery kitchen. Get ready to treat your palate with lightly salted masa corn chips with avocado guacamole and pico de gallo. There’s also corn queso balls with chipotle crema, wild mushroom al pastor taco, smoked chipotle potato and avocado taco with chipotle potatoes, chile relleno taco, pork carnitas taco, chicken carnitas taco, lamb birria taco, poquito quesadillas, double bean and queso poquito quesadilla and the list is never-ending.
