Wheat Sponge Cake in Cooker By Mamini

A healthy cake for kids. Very spongy and very tempting recipe. Your kids will definitely enjoy this.

INGREDIENTS

  • Wheat flour -1 cup
  • Warm Milk -½ cup
  • Condensed milk - ½cup
  • Granulated sugar - ½ cup
  • Melted Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 2 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - ¼ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp

PREPARATION

    Preheat the cooker for 10m.

    Add 1cup salt in Cooker and Close the lid.
  3. 3

    Grease the cake module with butter or oil and dust some flour on it, then remove extra flour from it. Place it aside.

    Meanwhile, place large sieve onto the large bowl.
  5. 5

    Add flour, corn flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder, sieve them well.

    In another bowl put melted butter(unsalted butter), condensed milk, vanilla essence and vinegar .

    Mix them all together nicely.

    Now take one more regular bowl put lukem milk and granulated sugar together and mix them nicely.

    After that start mixing warm milk batter into wet ingredients. Mix them together.

    take a spoon and add two spoon dry ingredients into wet ingredients . Mix them as cut and fold method ( it helps in air trapping).

    Put the rest of dry ingredients into wet ingredients and follow the same method.

    Pour batter into the greased cake tin, and tap it for 3 times.

    Now put a stand into the cooker and put cake tin over it. Then cover it with the lid.

    Leave it for 45m. You can check it in between of time. After 45m, check your cake from tester. If tester comes out clean. It means cake is ready.

    Leave for some minute. Then transfer it into the another plate.
