Ingredients

  • For Garlic Chutney

    • 3-4 garlic cloves

    • 1 tbsp ginger juliennes

    • 1 tsp red chilli powder

    • salt to taste

    • 1/2 tbsp ghee

    • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • For Lasaniya Bateta

    • 1 tsp oil

    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

    • 1/4 cup chopped onion

    • 1/4 cup chopped tomato

    • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

    • water as required

    • 1 tsp red chilli powder

    • 1 tsp corainder powder

    • pinch of garam masala powder

    • pinch of chaat masala

    • salt to taste

    • 8-9 boiled babay potatoes

    • water as required

  • For Lasaniya Kela

    • 2 boiled raw bananas

    • ghee

  • For Garnish

    • chopped coriander leaves

    • chaat masala

PREPARATION

    For making garlic chutney, crush together garlic cloves and ginger in a mortar & pestle. Add red chilli powder, salt and ghee and mix well. Add a dash of lemon at the end.

    For making lasaniya bateta, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves, garlic chutney and water and mix well.

    Next add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, salt and mix well. Now add baby potatoes and water to this mixture and mix well.

    Garnish Lasaniya Bateta with chopped coriander leaves and chaat masala.

    For making Lasaniya Kela, boil raw bananas in pressure cook. Next, remove the top and bottom portion of bananas, peel off and then slit the bananas.

    Stuff the slit bananas with garlic chutney and spread some ghee. Garnish with coriander leaves and chaat masala.

STEP BY STEP
