For Khichdi
2 - 3 tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp jeera
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
4 - 5 cloves
4 - 5 black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 - 2 dried red chillies
1 bowl chopped carrots, cauliflower and potato
1 cup rice
1 cup moong dal
1 cup peas
1 cup chopped tomatoes
water as required
salt to taste
For Tadka
