In a deep bottom pan, add water, butter and saffron. Bring them to a boil and let the butter melt completely.

Low down the flame and add refined flour and mix them well. Make sure there is no lump and cook the mixture for 2-3 until refined flour is cooked on low flame.

Turn off the flame, take the mixture into a bowl and spread it. With the help of an electric beater, whisk the mixture so we can have more air to our mixture and it also helps to cool down the mixture.

Add egg to the batter one at a time and keep whisking it.

Once the batter is ready, remove it into a piping bag and pipe it into a jalebi shape in hot oil. Fry them until they turn golden brown on both sides.

In a bowl, add castor sugar, cardamom powder and mix well. Toss the jalebi into the sugar mixture. Serve garnish with mixed nuts.
