For Rice
1 cup rice
1 ¾ cup water
2 - 3 tbsp ghee
1 tsp salt
For Tadka
2 - 3 tbsp ghee
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 - 3 kashmiri red chillies
For Dal
1 bowl Arhar Dal (soaked)
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp jeera
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped garlic
1/2 cup chopped tomato
2 - 3 green chillies (chopped)
1/4 cup chopped ginger
1 cup fresh coriander (chopped)
1 tbsp lemon juice
For Aloo Sabzi
4 - 5 boiled potatoes cut into thick pieces
2 - 3 tbsp ghee
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp haldi powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp aamchur powder
salt to taste
