Thai-style Stir Fried Soya Chaap By Payal Varma

Love Thai cuisine but can't do meat? Here's a tasty alternative.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups soya chaap, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 pcs garlic
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup holy basil
  • 5 pcs red chilli
  • 1/2 cup water

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.

    Once the oil is hot, add garlic and chillies, and stir fry for 10-12 seconds until you smell the aroma.

    Then add the soya chaap and stir fry for a few minutes, or until the pieces are a lightly brown (if you like them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside).

    Add the dark soy sauce, sugar, fish sauce, broth, and basil leaves to the pan.

    Mix well and let it cook for 10-12 seconds.

    Turn off the heat and your Thai-style stir-fried soya chaap is ready to enjoy.
