Spinach, Mushroom, Potato Casserole By Laksshana

A highly palatable savoury dish baked with lots of cheese, mushrooms, spinach and potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 medium sized potatoes boiled and cut into big pieces
  • 1 bowl spinach roughly chopped
  • 1 bowl sliced mushroom
  • 1 cube butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 12 cup milk
  • 11 bowl grated cheese

PREPARATION

    In a pan melt butter and add all purpose flour.

    Add the mushrooms and spinach to it.
  3. 3

    Add salt, chilli flakes, oregano and black pepper powder and mix well.

    Add milk and stir well.
  5. 5

    Cook for 5 mins till the sauce thickens.

    Place the potatoes in a baking dish.
  7. 7

    Pour and spread the sauce over the potatoes.
  8. 8

    Add grated cheese over the sauce.

    Bake the layered casserole in a pre-heated oven at 180° for 35 - 40 mins.

    1Once the Cheese on the top melts and becomes slightly brown and Serve Hot!.
