Spaghetti lasagna is a twist from the traditional lasagna. It's a yummy comfort food. This savory recipe is perfect for meal and for any party. It's appetizing as well as filling. We bake spaghetti almost the same way as lasagna. It's a layer baked casserole with sauce,  mozzarella and parmesan chee

INGREDIENTS

  • Spaghetti  - 2 cups
  • Onion  - 1
  • Tomatoes  - 2
  • Garlic cloves  - 3
  • Corn - 1 cup
  • Bell peppers  - 1
  • Pasta sauce  - ¾ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese  - 2cups
  • Parmesan cheese - ½cups
  • 1Italian seasoning  - 1tsp
  • 1Salt to taste
  • 1Coriander leaves  - 1tbsp
  • 1Extra virgin olive oil  - 2tbsp

PREPARATION

    In a deep bottom pan, cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water. Drain water and keep aside.

    Take a non-stick pan, heat oil and saute chopped onion and garlic. Add chopped tomatoes, bell pepper and corn.

    Mix properly with pasta sauce and salt. Cover and cook the vegetables for few minutes.

    Then add Italian seasoning and toss the mixture . Transfer it to a bowl.

    Pre-heat the oven at 180°Grease the baking dish.

    Layer one-third of the spaghetti in the bottom of the baking dish. Top with half of vegetable mixture and one-third mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

    Again repeat layers of one-third spaghetti and the remaining vegetable mixture and one-third mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

    Finish with the remaining spaghetti and cheese.

    Bake for 20 - 30 minutes until golden brown and the cheese melts. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Enjoy!!.
