It's a desert recipe. Festive season means sweet dishes in every house. Meetha to banta hai.

Serves5-6 people

Cooking Time40-50 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 1.5 ltr milk
  • 200 gm Milkmaid / condensed milk
  • Desi Ghee as required
  • 8-9 chopped Cashews
  • 8-9 soaked n peeled chopped almonds
  • 7-8 chopped wet dates
  • Charoli (calumpang nuts)
  • Cardamom powder

PREPARATION

    In a pan heat 2 tbl spn ghee.
  2. 2

    Add chopped Cashews n almonds lightly roast it in medium flame. And keep it a side.

    In a same pan add 1 cup vermicelli and roast it lightly and keep it a side.

    Take a large vessel n boil 1.5 ltr milk for 10-15 min. On medium flame and Constantly stir it.

    When milk thicken add vermicelli and cook for 3-4 min .

    Once vermicelli softened add 200 gm milkmaid and let it shimmer for few more min and keep stirring it.

    After 2-3 min add 7-8 chopped dates, Cashews and almonds mix it well .

    Add 2 tbl spn ghee n mix it well.

    Add cardamom powder and charoli cook for 3-4 min constantly stir it.

    Once it thicken as you desire turn off the flame and cover it with lid and keep it for 15 min .

    After 10-15 min serve it hot or cool as you like. And garnish it with some more Cashew nuts. And enjoy your desert with friends and family.
