Red Velvet Dahi Vada By Lajawab Zaika

Its Unique and Tasty Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Urad Dal- 2cups
  • Beet Root (Big Siz- 2 nos.
  • Dahi (Curd)- 1/2kg
  • Sugar - 5tbsp
  • Green Chillies (Choppe- 4nos.
  • Cashew Nuts(Broken)- 2tbsp
  • Raisins(Kishmis- 2tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Zeera Powder, Dhaniya Powder, Green Chutney, Chaat Masala - For Garnishing
  • Curry Leaves - 5-6 Leaves
  • Mustard Seeds - 1tsp

PREPARATION

    Making Vada - Soak Urad Daal Overnight.
  2. 2

    Drain all the water from daal and Grind it in a mixer and make fine paste.
  3. 3

    Boil the Beetroot and Grind it and make fine paste.
  4. 4

    Mix Urad Daal Paste and Beetroot Paste.
  5. 5

    Then add all the Dryfruits and green chillies and salt in it.

    Mix it all well.

    In a pan, Heat Oil.

    Fry the Vada.
  9. 9

    After frying immediately put the Vadas into Water and keep it for one minute.

    Then Press the vada and Drain all the water from it.

    Add sweet Dahi to the vadas.

    Making Dahi - In a Dahi Add 5tbsp Sugar and 1 beetroot and Grind it to make fine paste.

    Take Curry leaves and Mustard seeds (Raafor Tadka.

    Refrigerate the Dahi for 10-15 mins.

    Serve the Dahi Vada in a dish .

    Garnish them with Zeera Powder, Dhaniya Powder, Chaat Masala ,and Green Chutney.
