Rasmalai is basically a creamy and milky syrup that consist of Chenna (cottage cheese) balls. The syrup is purely made from milk, sugar, cream and saffron mixture.
Indian sweet rasmalai calls for few ingredients i.e. milk, lemon juice/white vinegar/yogurt (to curdle the milk), sugar and flavorings like saffron, cardamom, rose water
along with some nuts for texture and garnish.
