This is the perfect tea time snack and has no maida, no sugar, no jaggery and it is 100% healthy.

INGREDIENTS

  • Butter -100g
  • Wheat flour -200g (1.5 cup)
  • Salt -1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder -1/2 tsp
  • Baking soda -1/4 tsp
  • Jeera - 1 Tbsp
  • Milk -3 Tbsp

PREPARATION

    Beat Butter for 4 mins in a bowl and beat till creamy butter.

    Take atta,salt, baking powder and baking soda and seive it and add to butter.

    Add jeera and mix gently.
  4. 4

    Add milk and mix gently till moist flour. Combine together and do not knead .

    Roll cylinderical and flatten all the 4 sides.

    Wrap tightly with a plastic cover and shape it well all 4 sides.

    Refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

    Unwrap it and cut it slice thickness.

    Ready to bake. Keep all the slices on a tray with butter/parchment paper.

    Sprinkle some jeera on the slices and press it gently.

    Preheat and bake at 180 degree for 20 minutes.
