Indian traditional sweet with eno( instant)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bowl Maida
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 pouch Eno (for instant fermentatio
  • Water as required
  • Oil (for deep frying jalebi)
  • 2 bowls Sugar (for sugar syru
  • 2 pinches - Cardamom (ElaichPowder
  • strands of Saffron (Kesaor Saffron colour (for sugar syru
  • Urad dal - fine grinded in mixer grinder
  • Piping bag or sauce bottle

PREPARATION

    Let's start with making the sugar syrup (chashni). Add sugar and water in a pan in 2:.

    Put saffron or saffron colour.
  3. 3

    Heat on medium flame.
  4. 4

    Close the flame after one boil.
  5. 5

    While the sugar syrup is getting ready, you can prepare the batter of jalebi.
  6. 6

    Add maida, ghee and water as required in a utensil and mix well.
  7. 7

    Add it slowly without any lumps. Blend the mixture well. Make sure that the batter is not too thick.

    Put oil in a pan with large diameter. The pan should have a flat Heat oil on high flame for deep frying.

    Fill the jalebi batter in a piping bag. Squeeze the bag to make spirals. Deep fry on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

    Take out the jalebis from the pan and dip them in sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
