HEALTHY FRENCH FRIES By Sanjana Sovi

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

PREPARATION

    Preheat oven to 400.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. 3

    Scrub potatoes well to remove any dirt.
  4. 4

    Peel the skin.
  5. 5

    Slice longways into large slices.
  6. 6

    Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper .
  7. 7

    Toss well to distribute the seasoning.
  8. 8

    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, tossing once or twice during cooking.

    When golden and crisp, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
