Gimbap/Kimbap By Rigzen Angmo

Gimbap, also romanized as kimbap, is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and ingredients such as vegetables, fish, and meats that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices.

INGREDIENTS

  • Seaweed sheet
  • Sesame oil
  • Vegetables(salad, cucumber, bokchoy, carrot, reddish)
  • Paneer(tofu)
  • Rice
  • Sesame seed
  • Soy sauce

PREPARATION

    Cook some plain rice.(make it lil bit sticky).

    Chop all the veggies and paneer(tofand pan-fry them with sesame oil one by one.

    Take a seaweed sheet and cover it with sesame oil.
  4. 4

    Spread rice on the sheet.
  5. 5

    Spread veggies and paneer (tofon one side of the rice.
  6. 6

    Roll it all together and make it a cylindrical shape.

    Put some more oil and cut it into equal halves in a circle.

    Final touch with some sesame seed on it.

    To make the dipping sauce, mix soy sauce with sesame oil.

    Ready to serve.
