Capsicum halwa By Naziya

Capsicum has unique flavour and mild spiciness which makes this halwa delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • Capsicum -2no.(steamed and grinded)
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 1no.
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Corn flour - 1 tsp
  • Almonds - few chopped

PREPARATION

    Cut, de-seed and steam the capsicum until soft.

    Grind steamed capsicum into fine paste.
  3. 3

    In a pan, add ghee, cardamom, almonds, capsicum paste and saute until raw smell leaves.

    Add sugar and corn flour slurry .
  5. 5

    Mix well and cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. 6

    Serve warm with almonds and silver leaf.
