It’s been raining cats and dogs, but when has that stopped us from venturing out and making the most of the monsoon, right? From international bar takeovers to masterclass by none other than chef Gary Mehigan, there’s a lot to indulge in the first two weeks of July. 1. Goan Food Festival at Lotus Café, Mumbai
Goa’s chef Liston Coutinho has been treating patrons to some of the most delicious Goan dishes for a week now. Today is the last day, so don’t miss out on the specially curated menu, the perfect fusion of Portuguese and Indian flavours. You can indulge in an array of Goan delights such as the traditional chicken cafreal, clams sukka, rechado stuffed squids, lamb and pork vindaloo and rawa fried rechado fish amongst others.

2. Bar takeover at PCO, Mumbai
Not on the weekend, but definitely stands a chance to feature in our things to do in Mumbai list as PCO Bombay is bringing Origin Bar from Singapore, for a one-of-a-kind cocktail experience on July 12, 2023. Definitely, something you don’t want to miss out on. Known for carefully crafted innovative cocktails with top quality ingredients, Origin Bar ranked #66 on Asia's 50 Best Bars’ list. PCO Mumbai will be exclusively taken over by Rishi Randhawa, the Bar Manager of Origin Bar to showcase his five signature cocktails such as Atomic, a unique blend of metaxa, yuzu, wasabi, citrus, and explosions. They also have an unconventional concoction, Play-Well made of metaxa, gin, caramelised apple cordial, bitters, and lego. Oh, did we mention about the delightful Peanut Butter Therapy, refreshing Hunter, and the tantalising Chicle cocktail?

3. Monsoon menu at Taki Taki, Mumbai
All you need this monsoon is a steaming bowl of ramen, right? So, embrace monsoon with Taki Taki’s new delightful menu of ramen bowls made of broth, adorned with tantalising ribbon-like strands of noodles and adorned with dried seaweed. Vegetarians can go for vegetable ramen, with fragrant soy broth accompanied by tofu, bamboo shoots, sweet corn, and tender bok choy. If you’re a hardcore meat lover, try their chicken shio ramen or pork char sui goma ramen. If this doesn’t make you salivate, we don’t know what will.
For the Cheung Fung selection, there’s crispy prawns and chives, crispy celery chicken, and crispy exotic vegetables.

4. Dessert masterclass by chef Gary Mehigan, Mumbai
Dessert lovers, here’s your chance to attend a masterclass and learn from the very best, MasterChef Australia judge and chef Gary Mehigan. In the eggless desserts masterclass, you will learn to make three of Gary's favourite summer desserts - summer berries pavlova, panna cotta with citrus flavours and candied nuts and mango tart with green cardamom sorbet. You will be provided with all the equipment, and there will be individual cooking stations with all the ingredients.

6. Red Bull Dance Your Style, New Delhi
Red Bull Dance Your Style, a global street dance event series with a unique format, is back for its third edition. With over 90 events held in 30 countries around the world, it’s a rare event that’s judged by the crowd. In this, dancers from various street dance styles compete in one-on-one battles to unconventional mainstream tracks. The National Finals will be held this Saturday in New Delhi, where 16 dancers selected from the Regional Finals will compete for the title of India Champion. The winner will compete at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Germany on November 4, 2023.
