It is one of the most important museums in Dubai, and in the Al Fahidi Fort, it is the oldest building in Dubai.

Note: Currently, the Dubai Museum in Al Fahidi Fort is undergoing renovations in the interiors, and is expected to be open to the general public again soon. Do check the status before including it in your itinerary. 

Kidzania

This award-winning idea is in Dubai Mall and is meant to be a smaller version of an 'adult experience'. KidZania comes with houses, smooth streets, and an economy that works. When the kids play grown-up, they can be anything from firefighters, cooks, and doctors to radio hosts, pilots, and even perfumers who make their own smells. Another great thing about this place is the KidZania Space Centre. With the help of virtual reality and imagined attractions, kids can learn more about scientists and the world in a space station that looks like the real thing.

Play DXB

Play DXB, an indoor fun park in Dubai Mall, does amazing things with augmented and virtual reality. You can try the amazing Burj Drop experience, which lets you fly down the side of the world-famous Burj Khalifa. If that's too easy for your kids, they can play The Walking Dead Outbreak VR game and try to stay alive during a zombie attack, or they can steer a spaceship to safety. Family groups and kids who are younger can also have a great time, making it perfect for Dubai family tour. The best part is that it's free to get in, and each event costs as little as AED 15.

Olioli

OliOli is a new idea that promises to 'engage and inspire' kids. It has a lot of creative and fun tasks for kids to do. The huge adventure park in Al Quoz is for kids ages 2 to 11, and it has eight themed rooms. Toshi's Net, a bright hanging play area made by Toshiko MacAdam, is one of the best things about this place. Other fun things to do are throw cannonballs in the Water Gallery and mess around in the Creative Lab.
