INGREDIENTS

  • For Fruit Puree

    • 4-5 plums, chopped

    • 1.2 cup sugar

    • ½ cup water

  • For Caramel Sauce

    • 1 cup sugar

    • 1 tbsp water

    • 2 tbsp butter, chilled

    • 1/2 cup cream

  • Sundae Elements

    • mango ice cream

    • strawberry ice cream

    • chocolate ice cream

    • vanilla ice cream

    • plum coulis

    • butterscotch sauce

    • whipping cream

    • chocolate sticks

    • wafer biscuits

    • colorful sprinkles

    • gems

    • fresh cherries

    • cranberries

PREPARATION

    For the puree add chopped plum and sugar in the pan, and little water to make a sauce.

    When ready, cool it down and blend it in the blender to make a smooth plum sauce.

    For the caramel sauce add sugar, water and let the sugar caramelize till it turns golden brown.

    Add butter, cream and whisk well to make a caramel sauce.

    To assemble sundae take a tall glass, add puree on the glass to give color, followed by favorite ice cream scoop, caramel sauce, sprinklers, fruits, chocolates, another ice cream scoop, caramel sauce, whipped cream, various sprinklers, wafers biscuits, chocolate cigars. Sundae is ready to serve.
