INGREDIENTS

    • 1 1/2 cup milk

    • 2 tbsp dry yeast

    • 1/2 tsp brown sugar

    • 3 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    • salt to taste

    • 1/4 cup maple syrup

    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

    • 1 cup brown sugar

    • 2 tbsp cinnamon powder

    • powdered sugar for dusting

    • cream cheese frosting

    • cinnamon powder for garnish

    • cinnamon sticks

PREPARATION

    In a bowl, activate the yeast by mixing it with warm milk and sugar.

    In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, salt, maple syrup and activated yeast.

    Knead the mixture into a dough and rest it for 60 minutes.

    In a bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add cinnamon powder and mix again.

    Roll out the dough and spread the cinnamon butter on it.

    Roll the dough into a log.

    Cut the rolls into pieces using thread.

    Place the rolls in a tin and proof them for 60 minutes.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes.

    On a serving plate, place the baked cinnamon rolls. Spread the cream cheese frosting on it.

    Garnish it with powdered sugar, cinnamon powder and cinnamon sticks.
