This time Lapsi is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish prepared with broken/cracked wheat, ghee and jaggery or sugar. But this taldhari Lapsi is easy and simple . This taldhari Lapsi recipe comes together in less than 20 minutes. Make this festive Lapsi recipe in the Instant Pot. This is old traditional recipe made by fennel seeds,oil , jaggery,wheat flour.Give for nice flavour add fennel seeds instead of cardamom powder..

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup wheat bhakhri flour
  • 3/4 cup jaggery
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2-3 spoon oil or as required
  • 3tsp fennel seeds

PREPARATION

    Take a bowl and add wheat flour which is thick than chapati flour.add oil to flour and mix well to give crumble like texture.

    Now take heavy bottom pan and add water and jaggery to it.now allow it to boil.

    Now add wheat flour, fennel seeds to it and spread over it.

    Now cover with lid for while.then remove lid and when flour started to absorb jaggery water syrup then mix it with the help of rolling pin.(do not use spoon for mixing).

    Now cover it with lid.where lid cover with napkin so it soaks extra water content.and make lapsi crumble in texture.let it allow to cook for 5-7 minutes.

    Put in thali, garnish with almonds nd cut as u desire.
