shahi tukda is a mughlai dessert made with ghee fried bread , thickened sweetened milk , saffron and nuts . Shahi is a persian word meaning Royal and tukda or tukra is a hindi & urdu meaning it is a delicious piece of dessert served on special occasion & festivals .

INGREDIENTS

  • ingredients :-
  • 1&1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup custard powder
  • 1/3 cup luke warm milk
  • some dry fruits
  • 1cup ghee

PREPARATION

    In a pan add milk & bring it to boil .

    After the milk is boil in a small bowl add custard powder & mix it with luke warm milk & add custard mixture into boiling milk by adding sugar .

    Take slice of bread cut it in 4 parts .

    Shallow fry bread in ghee .
  5. 5

    Let milk get thicken after that you can add dry fruits of your choice in milk custard ( add some sprigs of kesar ) .

    Our shahi rabri is ready .
