Sabudana Vada By Sonal Agrawal

This is crispy outside and soft inside without adding the potatoes to it.

INGREDIENTS

  • Soaked Sabudana - 1 cup
  • Roasted and crushed Peanuts - 1/2 cup
  • Rajgira Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies- 2-3
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Rock Salt to taste
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

PREPARATION

    Soak sabudana atleast for 5 hours or overnight.

    Drain out the excess water from sabudana.
  3. 3

    Now take a bowl, add soaked sabudana, crushed peanuts, rajgira flour, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, cumin seeds and rock salt. Mix it well.

    Heat oil for deep frying the Vada's on medium flame.
  5. 5

    Till the oil gets heated, make small round and flat Vada's or patty from the mixture.
  6. 6

    Once the oil gets heated up, add tiny balls to it and fry them on both sides till golden brown.

    If the Vada's break, add some more Rajgira flour to it.
  8. 8

    Remove the fried Vada's on the paper towel to absorb excess oil.

    Serve the hot Sabudana Vada with green chutney.
