Red Wine Cookies By Sneha Nandy

I like to experiment so I made this eggless wine cookies which tastes heavenly 😋

INGREDIENTS

  • Red wine - 1.5 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2+3/4 cup
  • Butter -1/2 cup
  • Butter - 70 gm
  • Flour -1+1/4 cup
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder- 2tbsp
  • Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence-1/2tsp
  • Chopped cashew nuts-12-15

PREPARATION

    Heat wine in a non-stick pan, add sugar and let it come to a boil. Reduce the wine till 1/4 its quantity.

    Preheat oven at 180°Line a baking tray with a butter paper.

    Cream butter and castor sugar in a bowl till soft and fluffy. Add the prepared wine , vanilla essence and whisk well.

    Sieve together flour and cocoa powder in the butter-sugar mixture. Add baking soda and fold well.

    Roughly chop cashew and mix well to make a dough.

    Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into cookies , topped with some chopped cashew place on a lined baking tray.

    Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 12- 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.Serve.
