Now, heat oil in a pan and add peanuts, stir it for few seconds on a low flame and then remove fried peanuts in a bowl. In the same pan, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, fennel and curry leaves. Let them splutter. Now add chopped onion green chilli and stir it untill onion becomes light pink in colour, add boiled and chopped potato and stir for one minute.
