Orange cake By Anisha Kurup

I made this orange cake using fresh orange juice not used falvours

Serves6 Servings

Cooking Time40 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • All purpose flour 500 gm
  • Orange 1
  • Sugar 300gm
  • Egg 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tspn
  • Baking soda 1/2 tspn
  • A pinch salt

PREPARATION

    First take an orange wash well and gate it to collect some fresh orange peels.

    Now squeeze orange and collect fresh juice.
  3. 3

    Through a seive add all purpose flour baking soda bakingpowder and salt and seive well.

    In another pan add 2 eggs whoch is in room temperature and add oil into it and beat well.

    Then add sugar and beat well.
  6. 6

    Now add the orange juice to the flour and mix well. Then slowly add egg batter and fold it smoothly. At last add orange peels and mix well.

    Add the cake mix in a cake tin and put it in a preheated pressure cooker and bake it for 20 minutes.

    Soft smooth tasty orange cake is ready.
