Mutton kosha my style By Soma Banik

Easy and delicious dish

Serves4 people

Cooking Time40-45 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • Mutton 700 gm
  • 4 big chopped onion
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tblsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 2 tblsp
  • Redchilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilli 4 pieces
  • Curd 1 tblsp
  • Mustard oil 4-5 tblsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Whole garam masala
  • Bay leaf 2
  • Potato(optiona4 small and cut
  • Cumin and red chilli (optional)paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder

PREPARATION

    Marinate mutton with curd,salt, turmeric,redchilli powder,cumin paste,lemon juice, Ginger garlic paste and some mustard oil .

    Put mustard oil in a pressure cooker .
  3. 3

    Let smoke comes out and put whole garam masala and bay leaf.

    Fry potatoes .
  5. 5

    After fry separate them.
  6. 6

    Then add marinated mutton.
  7. 7

    Cook for 15 minutes to reduce water.
  8. 8

    When the oil comes out add some hot water and again cook but not use lid.
  9. 9

    After 5 minute add coriander powder and green chilli and garam masala powder .

    Now cook in high flame.
  11. 11

    After oil comes out add hot water and put the pressure cooker lid and let it whistle for 7-8 .

    After whistle put off the gas and let it cover until the cooker is cold.
  13. 13

    Serve it hot with rice or chapati or Paratha .and enjoy.
