Kuttu puri with chole By Nikita Patil

Kuttu flour is very healthy as it can be eaten during fasting period. From kuttu u can make puri, thalipeeth, dosa etc. Chole with black base masala curry accompanied with puri or fresh curd can also accompaniment with kuttu puri. It’s Navratri special recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500gms chole soaked overnight
  • 4 tbsp whole spices roasted masala
  • 1 tbsp tea powder
  • 1 bowl Onion, tomato, curry leaves purée
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander power
  • 5,6 tbsp oil
  • 500 gms kuttu flour

PREPARATION

    Pressure cook chole adding tea powder in water upto 4,5 whistle.

    In pot add oil, roasted masala, puree of onion, tomato, curry leaves and sauté well until oil leaves out of masala.

    Add cooked chole and stir well then add that same chole tea water in it.

    Add red chilli pwd, coriander pwd stir well. Season with salt and cook for 5,10 mins until boil. Chole are ready.

    For kuttu puri take flour knead by adding little water adding salt a bit to it. Apply oil and set aside 10 mins.

    Make equal size balls and roll it and deep fry kuttu puri and serve with chole.
